I was down at Easter visiting my son and grandchildren. Wow your food was amazing (my only complaint is why my son hadn't taken me there before). The staff where so friendly and welcoming. The food was so tasty even the grandchildren ate all of their meals. I can't wait for my next trip down. Thanks for the beautiful meals.
Response from the owner
Anne, thank you so much for such a lovely review! We’re delighted you enjoyed your Easter visit with your son and grandchildren, and especially happy to hear the little ones enjoyed their meals too. We’ll have to have a word with your son about not bringing you in sooner!
It means a lot to hear that you felt so welcome and enjoyed the food. We really appreciate your kind words and can’t wait to welcome you back to Capones on your next trip down!

Had a fantastic time at Capones Bar & Restaurant in Galway with my friends! We didn’t have a reservation, but luckily, we got a table. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax.
We ordered IPA, cocktails, pizza, burger, and pasta, and everything was top-notch. The drinks arrived first—beautifully presented, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. When the food came out, it was hot, fresh, and full of flavor—every dish was cooked to perfection!
The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the great experience. We finished our meal with a sundae for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending.
Overall, an amazing experience! Highly recommend visiting with friends or family. It does get busy in the evening, so booking a table in advance is a good idea. Will definitely be back!

I recently dined with my family at this fantastic restaurant, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were unique and combined perfectly, making each bite unforgettable. We tried the pizzas and burgers, which were exceptional—I can honestly say it was the best pizza I've ever had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
